These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, digital products, educational materials, and related services.
By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to the applicable Terms. Where you purchase a product, the Terms presented at the time of purchase form part of your contract with us.
Please read these Terms carefully before making a purchase.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Irish or other applicable consumer protection law.
2. Our products and services
The HomePage offers a range of renovation education and planning products, which may include:
2.1 Renovation Ready
A live educational webinar designed to help homeowners understand the renovation process, prepare for upcoming decisions, and avoid common mistakes.
Depending on the particular event, access may include live attendance, a question-and-answer session, and a time-limited recording.
Event dates, duration, price, replay availability, and other details are specified on the relevant booking page.
2.2 Your Renovation Roadmap
A personalised digital report generated using information you provide about your property, renovation plans, budget, priorities, and other relevant circumstances.
The report may include indicative cost ranges, suggested renovation sequences, planning considerations, timelines, potential risks, and questions to discuss with relevant professionals.
It is a preliminary planning tool, not a professional survey, design, specification, or quotation.
2.3 The Renovation Toolkit
A collection of practical renovation resources, potentially including downloadable templates, worksheets, checklists, logs, and other project-management tools.
2.4 The Renovation Programme
A structured, self-paced online educational programme covering the renovation process, including planning, budgeting, decision-making, working with professionals, and managing a project.
The Programme includes five learning modules, together with any additional resources expressly listed in the product description at the time of purchase.
A personalised Renovation Roadmap is included with the Programme. Any additional downloadable tools or resources will be supplied in accordance with the specific offer made at the time of purchase.
2.5 Product availability
Not all products may be available for purchase at all times.
We may introduce, update, or discontinue products, subject to fulfilling existing contractual commitments and applicable consumer rights.
The specific description, price, features, delivery date, and access period displayed when you purchase a product form part of your agreement with us.
3. Ordering, prices and payments
3.1 Prices
Prices are displayed in euro (€) unless otherwise stated.
The total price payable, including applicable VAT and any other mandatory charges, will be clearly displayed before you confirm payment.
We may change prices or introduce promotional offers from time to time. Changes do not affect purchases already completed.
3.2 Payments
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers, including Stripe.
We do not store your full payment-card details on our website.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully processed and we have issued confirmation, or, where applicable, when a valid credit entitlement covers the full purchase price and your order has been confirmed.
3.3 Order confirmation
After a successful purchase, we will provide confirmation by email or another durable medium, including relevant purchase and access information.
Please contact hello@thehomepage.ie if you believe a payment has been taken but you have not received the purchased product or access.
3.4 Incorrect pricing and technical errors
If an obvious pricing or technical error occurs before an order is accepted, we may correct the error and invite you to complete the purchase at the correct price.
Where payment has already been taken and we cannot fulfil the order on the agreed terms, we will contact you and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required by law.
4. Product delivery and access
4.1 Digital delivery
Our products are supplied primarily through online access, downloadable files, email, or a combination of these.
You are responsible for maintaining reasonable internet access and compatible equipment.
Any material technical requirements or known compatibility limitations will be disclosed before purchase.
4.2 Your Renovation Roadmap
Following successful payment and completion of the required questionnaire, your Roadmap will be generated and made available through your HomePage account.
You should review the report carefully, particularly its assumptions, exclusions, and estimate limitations.
4.3 Webinar access
Webinar attendees receive access instructions by email or through their HomePage account.
For Renovation Ready on 4 November 2026, the scheduled live session is 19:30–21:00 Irish time, with replay access planned from 5 November until the end of 11 November 2026.
Replay access expires at the stated deadline and is not included indefinitely.
You are responsible for joining the event using the access details provided. If you experience access difficulties, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
4.4 Programme access
The Renovation Programme is offered with 12 months of access.
For purchases made before the initial Programme release, the access period begins on 12 November 2026 and runs until 12 November 2028.
For purchases made subsequently, the 12-month access period begins on the date of purchase, unless a different period is expressly specified at checkout.
Access does not automatically renew and does not involve recurring subscription charges unless a separate subscription is expressly offered and accepted.
4.5 Preorders
Where a product is offered for preorder, the expected availability date will be stated before purchase.
If a material delay or change affects the agreed supply of a preorder, we will inform affected customers and provide any remedies required under applicable consumer law.
4.6 Technical availability
We aim to keep purchased resources accessible for the agreed period. Occasional maintenance, technical issues, or interruptions may occur.
We will take reasonable steps to restore access and provide appropriate support. Nothing in this section limits your legal rights where digital content or services are not supplied as agreed.
5. Cancellation, refunds and consumer rights
5.1 Your statutory rights
If you purchase products online as a consumer, you will generally have a statutory right to cancel certain contracts within 14 days of entering into the contract, subject to exceptions and conditions under applicable law.
The precise application of this right depends on whether the purchase concerns digital content, a digital service, a live service, or a combination of these.
5.2 Digital content supplied immediately
Some products, including downloadable resources and generated digital reports, may be supplied shortly after payment.
Where the law permits the cancellation right to be lost once digital content begins to be supplied during the cancellation period, we will obtain your prior express consent and acknowledgement of that consequence, and provide the required confirmation.
Simply buying a digital product does not, by itself, mean you automatically lose statutory cancellation rights.
5.3 Services and live events
Where you request that a service begin during the statutory cancellation period, different cancellation rules may apply.
Where legally permitted, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided before a valid cancellation, provided the relevant statutory conditions have been satisfied.
The loss of cancellation rights following full performance of a service is subject to the applicable legal requirements.
5.4 How to request cancellation
To exercise a cancellation right or request a refund, contact:
Please include your name, the email address used for your purchase, the product purchased, and your order reference if available.
5.5 Refund processing
Where a refund is due, we will process it without undue delay and within the timescale required by law, ordinarily no later than 14 days after being informed of a valid statutory cancellation.
Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
5.6 Problems with purchased products
If a purchased product is not supplied, does not match its agreed description, or fails to meet applicable statutory requirements, you may be entitled to repair, restoration of access, a price reduction, termination, or a refund, depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your remedies for faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered digital content or services.
5.7 Change of mind outside statutory rights
Requests for discretionary refunds outside statutory cancellation and consumer-remedy rights will be considered individually.
Any discretionary refund does not establish an ongoing entitlement to refunds in similar circumstances.
6. Discount codes, promotions and Programme upgrade credits
6.1 Promotional offers
We may offer discount codes, introductory pricing, or other promotions.
Each promotion is subject to its stated eligibility criteria, validity dates, and redemption conditions.
Discounts generally cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
Promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
6.2 One-time discounts
Where a promotion is limited to one redemption per customer, a successful use will count as that customer's redemption.
A refund does not automatically restore promotional eligibility, although we may authorise an exception where appropriate.
6.3 Programme upgrade credits
We may allow eligible purchases of Renovation Ready, Your Renovation Roadmap, or The Renovation Toolkit to contribute towards the price of The Renovation Programme.
Eligible upgrade credits are based on the amount actually paid for a qualifying purchase, after discounts and refunds.
Upgrade credits:
- Can only be used towards an eligible Programme purchase.
- Must be linked to an eligible, verified purchase.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Cannot be transferred or redeemed multiple times.
- May be combined with other eligible credits, subject to the applicable Programme price and stated promotional terms.
- Are reduced or withdrawn where the qualifying purchase is refunded, as appropriate.
The amount and expiry of an available credit will be communicated through the relevant purchase information, account, or checkout.
Under the initial offer, Roadmap and Toolkit credits generally remain valid for 90 days from the later of the qualifying purchase or the opening of Programme preorders. Webinar credits are subject to the validity period communicated for the relevant event.
6.4 Discounts and credits together
Where both upgrade credits and an eligible discount code apply, credits are calculated according to the applicable offer, and the discount reduces any outstanding payment.
The total amount payable cannot fall below zero.
A discount code that provides no additional saving will not be treated as redeemed solely because it was entered.
6.5 Changes to promotions
We may amend or end promotional offers prospectively.
We will not retrospectively remove a valid benefit already earned under the terms of a completed purchase, except where necessary to correct fraud, error, refunds, or other circumstances permitted by law.
7. Accounts and acceptable use
Some products require a HomePage account.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to take reasonable steps to protect your account credentials.
You must not:
- Access another customer's account or private information without authorisation.
- Share purchased account access contrary to the applicable product licence.
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website.
- Use automated methods to extract, copy, or distribute protected content without permission.
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
We may take proportionate action to protect the platform, including restricting access where reasonably necessary to address security risks or serious misuse.
Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Any restriction will remain subject to our contractual obligations and your statutory consumer rights.
8. Intellectual property and permitted use
The HomePage website, educational content, reports, videos, graphics, templates, downloads, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, purchasing a product gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased material for your own residential renovation planning.
You may:
- Download and print resources supplied for that purpose.
- Share your own Roadmap with professionals directly involved in your renovation, such as your architect, builder, engineer, or quantity surveyor.
- Use templates and checklists for your own project.
You may not, without written permission:
- Resell or commercially redistribute our resources.
- Publish substantial portions of paid content online.
- Share purchased webinar or Programme access credentials with others.
- Reproduce, adapt, or distribute our materials as competing commercial products.
You retain ownership of the information you submit about your property and renovation.
You grant us permission to process that information as reasonably necessary to provide your purchased products and related services, in accordance with applicable data protection law.
9. Educational information, estimates and limitation of liability
9.1 Nature of our services
The HomePage provides educational information, renovation planning resources, webinars, online courses, personalised Renovation Roadmap reports, workbooks, checklists, and related tools to assist homeowners in understanding and planning residential renovation projects.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, these resources are provided for educational, informational, and preliminary planning purposes only.
They do not constitute a structural assessment, property survey, architectural design, engineering certification, quantity surveying service, statutory compliance assessment, or professional construction specification.
9.2 Estimates and budget information
Any renovation costs, budgets, allowances, timelines, or other estimates provided by The HomePage are indicative only and are based on available information, stated assumptions, and general market considerations at the time of preparation.
Actual costs and timelines may vary significantly due to factors including property condition, unforeseen defects, site access, ground conditions, structural requirements, specification changes, contractor availability, labour and material prices, statutory requirements, and other project-specific circumstances.
The HomePage does not guarantee that any renovation project can be completed within an indicated budget or timeframe.
Users should obtain project-specific professional advice, detailed specifications, and appropriate contractor quotations before making financial commitments.
9.3 Personalised Renovation Roadmaps
Personalised Renovation Roadmap reports are prepared using information supplied by the user and any assumptions expressly identified in the report.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, preparation of a report does not involve a physical inspection of the property, verification of structural conditions, independent confirmation of measurements, or investigation of hidden defects.
The accuracy and usefulness of a report may be affected by incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information provided by the user.
A Renovation Roadmap is intended as a preliminary planning resource and is not a substitute for professional investigations, detailed design, statutory approvals, or construction documentation.
9.4 Professional advice and project decisions
Users remain responsible for engaging appropriately qualified and insured professionals where required, including architects, engineers, building surveyors, quantity surveyors, and construction contractors.
Users should independently verify the suitability of any information, recommendation, design approach, dimension, material, or construction method before applying it to their property.
The HomePage does not supervise, manage, inspect, or certify construction works unless such services are expressly agreed under a separate written contract.
9.5 Third-party services
The HomePage is not responsible for the performance, workmanship, pricing, availability, contractual obligations, or actions of independent contractors, consultants, suppliers, or other third parties engaged by users.
References to particular products, construction methods, or service providers do not constitute a guarantee of their suitability or performance.
9.6 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The HomePage does not accept liability for variations between indicative estimates and actual renovation costs or timelines where such variations arise from factors outside its reasonable control or from assumptions, limitations, or project circumstances disclosed to the user.
The HomePage does not guarantee particular financial, construction, planning, or project outcomes from the use of its educational materials and planning resources.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable statutory consumer rights, liability for fraud, or liability for death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited by law.
9.7 User responsibilities
Users are responsible for reviewing the assumptions and limitations accompanying any report or estimate, providing accurate project information, obtaining appropriate professional advice, verifying applicable statutory requirements, and making their own informed decisions regarding renovation expenditure and construction works.
10. Grants, regulations and third-party information
Information about grants, planning permission, building regulations, conservation requirements, government schemes, or other statutory matters is provided as preliminary guidance.
Rules, eligibility criteria, funding levels, application procedures, and regulatory requirements can change.
A reference to a particular grant does not establish that you are eligible for it or guarantee that funding will be awarded.
You should verify current requirements with the relevant public body and obtain professional advice where appropriate.
Information or links relating to third-party providers are supplied for convenience and do not constitute endorsement or a guarantee.
11. No professional appointment or project-management relationship
Purchasing a HomePage educational product does not create an architect–client, engineer–client, quantity surveyor–client, building contractor–client, or construction project-management relationship.
Any separate consultancy, design, or project-management service must be expressly agreed under its own written scope and commercial terms.
Unless such an agreement exists, we are not appointed to supervise works, instruct contractors, certify compliance, administer building contracts, or make decisions on your behalf.
12. Website content and changes to services
We aim to keep our website and educational resources accurate, relevant, and up to date.
Renovation practices, legislation, product availability, market prices, and recommended approaches may change over time.
We may correct errors and make reasonable updates to our materials and website.
Where a change affects the essential features, availability, or agreed access to a purchased product, we will comply with our obligations under applicable consumer law.
13. Privacy and personal information
We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law.
This may include information you provide when creating an account, completing a renovation questionnaire, purchasing products, or contacting us.
14. Communications
We may send transactional communications necessary to provide purchased products and administer your account, including purchase confirmations, access links, important service notices, and password-reset emails.
Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable law and your communication preferences.
Purchasing a product does not automatically enrol you in a paid newsletter or other paid subscription.
15. Complaints and customer support
We want customers to be able to raise concerns and resolve difficulties promptly.
If you have a question, complaint, access issue, or concern about a purchased product, please contact:
Please include enough information to help us identify the relevant purchase or issue.
We will acknowledge and consider complaints within a reasonable time and aim to resolve them fairly.
Nothing in this process limits your entitlement to pursue other remedies available under applicable law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, legal obligations, business arrangements, or website operations.
The version applicable to your purchase will ordinarily be the version presented when the contract was concluded.
Changes to these Terms will not retrospectively remove statutory rights or materially reduce existing contractual entitlements without an appropriate lawful basis.
Where a material change affects an ongoing purchased service, we will provide any notice and remedies required by law.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights available to consumers in their country of residence.
18. General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce a particular provision on one occasion does not necessarily prevent us from enforcing it subsequently.
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, employment, or professional advisory relationship between you and The HomePage.
These Terms, together with the specific product description and any additional terms expressly accepted at purchase, set out the contractual basis on which we provide our products, without excluding rights or information that form part of the contract by law.
If the business operating The HomePage changes in the future, we will communicate any relevant change affecting existing customers and ensure their contractual and statutory rights are respected.
