The HomePage is operated by Kate O'Driscoll Consulting Limited, trading as The HomePage, in Ireland. This policy explains how we use personal information when you use our website and services. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@thehomepage.ie.
Information you give us
- Accounts: your name, email address and information needed to sign in and manage your account.
- Renovation questionnaires: the answers you provide about your property, location, planned works, budget, timing and preferences, together with your saved progress and generated Roadmap. You can begin a questionnaire before creating an account.
- Purchases and bookings: contact details, products purchased, order and payment references, payment status, discounts, refunds and purchase acknowledgements. Stripe processes payment-card details through its checkout.
- Messages and webinar questions: information you send us by email or submit in connection with a webinar.
- Marketing preferences: whether you tick the optional marketing-email checkbox. This is separate from emails about your account, purchase or booking.
How we use information
We use your information to manage accounts, save your answers, generate and provide your Roadmap, process purchases, arrange webinar access, send service emails and respond to enquiries. We also use purchase records to manage access, refunds and credits.
Your Roadmap uses your questionnaire answers and our cost model to produce indicative renovation estimates and planning guidance. These estimates are not professional advice or quotations.
Hosting and service providers
The website is hosted through Lovable, and Lovable Cloud provides the account, database and file-storage services used by the site. Transactional emails are sent through Lovable's email service.
We use Stripe for payments and WebinarGeek for webinar registration and access. The information sent to these services depends on the service you use: payment and contact information for checkout, and your name, email address and booking reference for webinar registration. External consultation-booking links take you to separate websites with their own privacy policies.
The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve these fonts, which involves sending technical request information, including your IP address.
Analytics and browser storage
We use Lovable's built-in website analytics to understand visits and page views. We also record questionnaire and checkout milestones to understand where people reach or leave the purchase journey. This includes a project or order reference, milestone and time, a broad device category, and a limited campaign source when one is provided in the link. These records can be associated with a project or purchase; they are not a recording of your screen.
The site does not currently include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PostHog or advertising pixels. Browser storage is used for functional purposes such as maintaining your sign-in and questionnaire progress. We have not added an advertising or analytics cookie banner. Separate services, such as Stripe checkout and webinar or booking websites, have their own cookie and privacy notices.
Your choices and requests
You can contact hello@thehomepage.ie to ask about your information, request access or correction, request deletion, or change your marketing preference. There is currently no self-service account-deletion button. Some information may need to be retained where a legal obligation applies; we will explain this when responding to a request.
You may also raise a concern with Ireland's Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the site's services or data practices change.
